BOOKS AND PAPERS
Books entirely handmade with materials taken from nature and recycled from our household waste. Some types of paper are produced from fallen leaves and fruit peels. Work according to the ancient art of papermakers.

This is a great example of material recycling from a Shelter-Farm. A white paper book. Let’s see how it is made up. The paper used for the internal pages is completely made by us. We make the paper like it used to be made. Here we started from waste paper and white cardboard, instead of throwing them away we have obtained fibers that, appropriately sieved, we have transformed into sheets. The internal signatures are bound with waxed thread and sewn together. For the cover, we used cardboard lined with fabric from an old military bag. The bullets add a touch of grit and danger to the cover, in line with the post-atomic theme.

This book is the first to be made with a type of paper derived from fallen walnut leaves and seasonal fruit peels. From these natural materials we have turned them into fibers and then into sheets. For the cover we used the pocket of my pants, creating a place to put pens and charcoal.
